In 1976, in the village of Santa Catarina, in Alentejo, locals discuss their lives, their values and their needs. A group of filmmakers from the Grupo Zero cooperative record these moments, with particular interest in the literacy course. A month and a half after the first filming, the collective organized a film session for the villagers, promoting a debate about the film that was in production. This film documents that cinema, in addition to being an observer, was also an agent of the revolution itself.
