Produced by Cinequipa, with commentary by Vítor Matias Ferreira and voiceover by Joaquim Furtado, this is one of the most militant film productions of the "post-revolutionary" period. José Nascimento, who in the same year participated in Cinequipa's collective production "Against the Multinationals", filmed the Agrarian Reform process here. The opening slogan is now well-known: "The land to those who work it".
