Carpinteiro de Papel is a film that traces the stories of an 81-year-old man residing in a Nursing Home located in a small Portuguese village in Alentejo. Joaquim Fernando Micael shares his memories through his personal narrative, while evoking songs from the past and cutting out medicine boxes to create diverse characters. Bringing his cut-outs to life, the themes range from the time he worked as a carpenter's assistant in a theater in Estremoz, the years he spent as an employee at a gas station, and his childhood admiration for the Bullfighting Festival.
