Since his debut as an actor in 1984, André Gago has brought to the stage his captivating presence and exceptional skills. In 2004, he brought to life Teatro Instável, where he not only directed and acted in acclaimed productions like "A Gargalhada de Yorick" and "Hamlet”, but also explored his passion for Commedia dell'Arte, working with masters like Ferrucio Soleri at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano. In literature, he was recognized with the Revelation Award from the Portuguese Writers Association for the short story "O Circo da Lua" and was a finalist for the Leya Prize with the novel "Rio Homem." He has occasionally appeared in films, notably in "Solo de Violino" directed by Monique Rutler, and "100 Eyes" directed by Thijs Bayens.
